Cathryn Bock – General Manager Cathryn Bock joins Atlantic Group Catering as General Manager, bringing with her over 17 years of hospitality and tourism experience. No stranger to fine food and wine, Cathryn has been at Crown Melbourne for the past 14 years, holding the coveted role of Director of Sales, Food and Beverage and Catering. Prior to that role, Cathryn also held the positions of Associate Director of Sales – Crown Events and National Business Development Manager. Major business achievements for Cathryn include Member of the Crown Business Operation Team, Recipient of ‘Crown Manager of the Year’ Award and being a part of ‘Women in Management’ Development Program. Cathryn also holds a Diploma of Business and International Hotel Management. A country girl at heart, Cathryn finds inspiration for her work through uncovering hidden dining gems, fresh produce and local markets (especially around the Mornington Peninsula) and constantly strives for unprecedented perfection.

Rachael Briese - Assistant General Manager Rachael’s experience spans over 20 years with a background in catering, venues and hotels with a focus on business development and sales management. Rachael’s most recent role was with Bursaria, overseeing and running the boutique catering company with a very hands on approach, through every facet of the business.

Prior to Bursaria, Rachael held roles with Bastion Brands sourcing new clientele for their business from the ground up. She also worked with Peter Rowland Catering, where she was responsible for overseeing 35 staff throughout 10 exclusive venues along with streamlining and structuring the sales and marketing components for the company as a whole.

Rachael also held various positions at Crown Melbourne including, National Business Development Manager. Here, she managed high profile events such as the 43rd & 44th TV WEEK Logie Awards, 2001 – 2003 Official Grand Prix Balls, 2001 & 2002 Allan Border Medal, Crown Oaks Club Lunches, 2001 USA Basketball Team, 2001 KPMG International Partners Conference as well as numerous corporate and private events from 5 – 2000 guests.

Rachael joins Atlantic Group Catering as Assistant General Manager. Her commitment and passion to being part of this vital team in presenting a vibrant and fresh approach in catering represents everything that is exciting, motivating and cutting edge to the industry.

Zowie Minchin, Catering and Events Executive Zowie has joined Atlantic Group Catering in 2011 with years of experience and with her true passion for good food and wine, Zowie constantly pushes the boundaries in her pursuit for excellence. Zowie managed a host of different hospitality ventures in Perth, including Buddha Bar, Barista Cottesloe and Astoria. A world wind overseas trip followed where Zowie gained experience working at CyBar in Chamonix, France and the General Manager at Bottles Karaoke & Sports and Family Entertainment Bar in the Canary Islands, Spain. In 2004, Zowie returned home, settling in the food capital of Australia – Melbourne, where Zowie managed iconic bars and restaurants including Mr Wolf, Botanical and St Ali. Zowie’s extensive travel partnered with her natural creative flair brings a fresh vision to the group inspiring innovative ideas and event concepts.
