MFWF – Urban Coffee Farm & Brew Bar
Our offsite catering team, Atlantic Group Catering has helped produce one of Melbourne’s most stimulating and captivating installations. As part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival the Urban Coffee Farm and Brew Bar will be featuring 17 days of coffee heaven! Each day a different Melbourne based café and bar will be sending their top barista’s and bar mixologists to showcase their skills! Pair your coffee with a tasty treat designed by our very own Italian baker and pastry chef Alessandro Urilli, head baker at the Mill & Bakery at Central Pier.

That’s a wrap! – Melbourne Cup Carnival
Over the four race days at the Melbourne Cup Carnival, Atlantic Group Catering served 4,501 patrons and treated them to our very own style and mantra of daring to be different and attention to detail.
Guests who joined us in the Makybe Diva ® Marquee were welcomed with a colour scheme of royal blue and white. The marquee was decorated with life-size chess pieces and grey scale sketched horse heads on the walls and the staff were styled accordingly with royal blue skinny jeans, crisp white shirts and a scarf that was screen printed to match the marquee design.
The Rose Room was the talk of the track. With sublime views of the city skyline and the winning post, the facilities inside were of the highest standard. Guests were greeted with a flourish of reds, whites and a touch of fantasy. The Rose Room, full of life, was styled with unicorn heads on the walls and rows of flowers along the bannisters. Our staff were a stand out in red skinny jeans and white and red polka dot shirts!
Atlantic Group Catering served The Rose Room guests 1,649 cocktails on arrival, Makybe Diva ® Marquee guests ate 3,047 canapes. In celebration of a win, 68 corks of Mumm champagne were popped! Our guests also enjoyed 5,152 bottles of wine, 12,789 bottles of beer, 5,320 bottle of Schweppes softdrink, and 193 bottles of spirits! No wonder there were some cheeky smiles at the end of the day!
Ladies that Lunch!
Atlantic Group Catering were delighted to recently entertain some lovely ladies , in a waterside setting at Central Pier in Melbourne’s Docklands.
Those who attended the lunch were blessed with excellent weather and delicious food by chef Tim Tyler.
The colourful table setting was adorned with vibrant flowers as the sun came out to play!
Guest were first entertained by the Gentleman’s Swing Club and then surprised by an impromptu flash mob, catching all that attended off guard!
After guests were finished with their meals, they boarded Quest 111, a yacht that is moored at Central Pier, to enjoy dessert while motoring around Victoria Harbour! It is safe to say that an excellent time was had by all!
